Please Keep an Eye Out

There is a possibility that thieves and burglars are using the canal towpath and local footpaths/byways to access villages in the Vale. Many local people use these facilities for receation and dog walking. Please keep an eye out for any suspicious activity/people and should you see anything please report it to the police as soon as possible

Winter Mornings

Yet again the police are reporting that the cold mornings have brought a return of the habit of leaving cars unattended with the engine running whilst windscreens defrost. Please remember that car theives get up early too, precisely because they know that there are easy pickings to be had at this time of the year. Remember also that if your car is stolen in these circumstances it is extremely unlikley that your insurance company will recompense you.
