This is a message from Leicestershire Neighbourhood Watch Information sent on behalf of Nottinghamshire Police

 

OIL THEFT IN RUSHCLIFFE

At approximately 4.30am on Thursday 21st March 2013 offenders were disturbed at a property in Scarrington. The offenders were attempting to take oil from an outside tank. They managed to take a small amount of oil.

Did you or anyone you know witness this incident? Do you know who has committed this crime? Do you have a CCTV camera, which may have captured the incident? Have you seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area in recent days?

 

The Police are seeking information from anyone with any knowledge of this offense.

There have also been 20 thefts of oil in rural villages in the Newark and Sherwood Borough over the past 30 days.
