Bottesford NHW Alert: Attacks on Business Properties

Over the last month there have been 5 separate attacks on properties based in local industrial estates and it clear that someone is targeting these properties which tend to be relatively vulnerable because of their isolation. Fortunately only one incident has resulted in significant loss so far, but if these attacks continue more are likely to suffer. The businesses based on these sites are incredibly important to the local economy and many provide jobs for local people, so it is in our interest to help protect them from criminal activity. If you live near to one of these sites, or pass by outside normal working hours, please keep and eye (and an ear) out for anything unusual and report it to the police without delay. If you believe a crime is in progress call 999; for all other matters dial 101. Remember that crime cannot thrive in a community that cares.
