Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire Police are conducting a joint planned operation TODAY targeting scrap metal collectors. If you see any vehicles around the village today looking for scrap metal please report the vehicle registration and description to the police on the 101 non-emergency number. The police have officers on hand to intercept and check out all reported vehicles. Please send the information directly to the police, and not to NHW as this would delay the response.
