Stolen Generator from Knipfest Event - Request for Help

It is now believed that the genset was driven away from the cricket ground at approx 6.45 pm on Sunday 30th June, towed behind  a maroon coloured Ford transit (style) pick up, driving toward Harston. We are requesting that anyone on the route away from Knipton...be it through Harston, Denton, Woolsthorpe, Stenwith or Muston (and even the A607 from Denton crossroads towards Grantham), who may have cctv with a camera that overlooks the highway outside their property to see if they may have recorded footage of the vehicle, with the generator behind, around the time it was stolen. This may give an indication of any markings on the vehicle etc which could  help with the retrieval of the generator and tracing the thieves. Any information can be passed to NHW or directly to the police on the non-emergency 101 number.

Heating Oil - Tank Security
It has come to out attention that tanks positioned at the front or side of properties might be visible on Google Maps Street View, making them more vulnerable to targeting by thieves. Residents with tanks in this position are advised to check Google Maps Street View and if necessary install screening or consider re-siting the tank.
