In the early hours of this morning (Monday) two cars were set alight on the drive of a property in the Bowbridge area of the village. The police are asking for help to identify those responsible for this criminal and very dangerous act. Anyone who has information about this incident or who saw anything suspicious in that area, especially during Sunday evening, are asked to contact the police on the non-emergency 101 number. Information can also be passed on anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 .
The police would also like to hear from anyone in the Bowbridge area who has their own CCTV security system. It is possible that their cameras might have picked up information that would be helpful to the police.
