Theft Of Vehicle Registration Plate

 

We have had a theft of a number plate from motor vehicle on Walnut Road, Bottesford. This happened at some point over the weekend of 21/22 June, exact date or times unknown. Anyone with any information please pass to the Police as soon as possible on 101.

 

Also, linking in to this there are a number of garages in Melton Mowbray that are currently fitting anti-tamper screws for number plates FREE of charge. If this is something that interests you then please pop in to any Melton garage or contact PCSO 6016 Liam Palmer for further information

 

Attempted Theft of a Land Rover in Orston

 

Please not there was an attempted theft of a Landrover Defender from outside a house in Hilltop. The culprits were able to get into the car but were unable to steal it. Fortunately the vehicle is fitted with an immobiliser, tracker and alarm. Please bear in mind that the highest proportion of all car crime takes place in the street outside the owner's house, so don't be complacent when parking and securing your vehicle.

 

 

Mini Scooter Found

 

A mini scooter has been found on the High Street in Bottesford. If anyone has lost one or knows of anyone who has please contact NHW with details.
