Fraudulent Emails
A spate of emails supposedly offering tax rebates from HMRC has been received in the locality. This is a scam. HMRC do not contact people by email in respect of tax rebates – they only use the traditional postal service. The FedEx parcel scam is also active in our area. Please don't fall for them and don't click on any of the links – just delete them. For further information and advice see the Action Fraud website.
Phone Case & Debit Card Found
A phone case (no phone) but containing a debit card was found yesterday. Anyone having lost such an item please contact NHW (see below).
