It appears the area is being visited by opportunist smash and grab vehicle thieves overnight since Tuesday. One out at Branston, one at Eaton and several at Wymondham. Bottesford hasn’t been hit directly yet but this is a timely reminder not to leave valuables on sight in unattended cars. Thieves are obviously cruising around the area looking for easy pickings and preying on the forgetful/not so security conscious. If you see anything suspicious please notify the police on 101 or if a crime is in progress 999.
