Recent Crimes in Surrounding Areas

Nottinghamshire Police Thoroton Beat have highlighted a spate of crimes in and around the area of Orston, just over the border from us, and we want to make sure that the crimes do not spread onto us! Please can everyone be extra vigilant and contact Police if there is any suspicious activity. If there is a strong suspicion that crime is in progress then please don’t hesitate to contact 999, for non emergency calls please use 101.

We have had a couple of Stables and Farm Yard burglaries over the past week, where perpetrator(s) have taken items from isolated rural locations. Please can owners of such properties or land be aware and store any items of value in a more secure location and stop opportunist thieves from operating. If anyone has any information about these crimes at Clawson Lane in Hose, or Main Street, Redmile please contact the Police on 101.

There has also been a recent theft from motor vehicle on Pinfold Place in Harby where a wallet was taken from a car glove box. Any information please pass on to Police on 101.

Lost Dog - Update

Henry the cross spaniel collie has now been re-united with his owners. Thanks to all who kept a look out for him.
