Police Officers in Melton Mowbray are pleased that Holly, a 6-year old springer spaniel has been found safe and well.
Holly was taken from her outside kennel in Knipton, Leicestershire, sometime between 5.30pm on Sunday February 2 and 8.30am on Monday February 3.
After police put out information of Holly’s disappearance on their website, facebook and twitter accounts, and Holly’s owners putting up posters around the area, the dog was returned to its owners on Sunday.
PC Sharon Roscoe, a police officer at Melton Local Police unit said: “We are so happy for the owners that Holly has been returned to them. They are extremely happy to have her home.”
