Normanton Road Closure

 

We have received a number of queries regarding confusion about the continuing closure of Normanton Lane following the press release that we were asked to circulate last week. On such matters we use our network to help circulate information provided by third parties, in this case Leicestershire County Council. Any queries or requests for clarification should be directed to them.

 

Abandoned Car - A52

 

The police have asked us to thank all residents who reported this vehicle to them. Responsibility for removal rests with Melton Borough Council and arrangements are in hand.

 

Farmwatch Crime Report

 

Fencing and gates have been stolen from Syston and Thorpe Arnold, leaving Livestock vulnerable. Catalytic converters are still being stolen from 4 x 4 vehicles.
