Suspicious Activity in Bottesford
We have received reports of suspicious activity in the Queen Street area earlier today (Saturday). This involved several males travelling in a gold coloured Suzuki Grand Vitara with a top box fitted. The registration number is believed to be 2V25022. If you see this vehicle please inform the police on 101 quoting incident number 393.

Transport in Rural Areas
The Parish Council has asked us to help publicise the following information:

The RCC is carrying out a survey to identify transport needs in rural areas across Leicestershire and Rutland. They are aware that there may be some imminent changes to transport provision and are interested in what effect this may have on people in rural communities.

They are particularly interested to hear from communities and individuals where people experience difficulties with transport to get access to services such as medical appointments, work, schools,  shopping, job centres and also access to social events.

They are also interested in what Community transport serves our area (if any)

In order to gather information they have placed two transport surveys their website at http://www.ruralcc.org.uk/transportsurvey.html

One survey is for Parish Councils and groups to complete and the other is for individuals. You may complete both if they are relevant to you.

Individuals, councillors and groups in our parish are encouraged to complete the surveys so that the RCC can gather as much information as possible, ideally by Monday  August 13th
