Bottesford NHW Alert: Burglary / Keys Found

Burglary

Sometime between 10.30am on Fri 19th and 5.30pm on Mon 22nd October a house in the Wyggeston Avenue area was entered by forcing a ground floor window. Electrical items and cash were stolen. A small white van with "Plumber" on the side was seen in the area at the time and police are anxious to trace this van to eliminate it from their enquiries. If anyone in the village has had work done by a plumber using such a van the police would like to know.

Also at about 10pm on the Friday night a local resident in that area reports that an unknown person tried to open their front door. Finding the door locked, this person disappeared. If anyone saw anything suspicious or maybe had a similar experience, the police would like to know.

Information can be passed to the police using the 101 non-emergency number.

Keys Found

A bunch of keys has been found in Bottesford in the cut through between Queen Street and the Bull Pub, at the side of Zara’s. The bunch consists of car and house keys and other distinctive items. If you have lost keys or know of someone who has, please contact me or the police on the 101 non-emergency  number.
