Police & Crime Commissioner Elections
Following numerous enquiries regarding the forthcoming Police & Crime Commissioner Elections, East Midlands Neighbourhood Watch Forum would like to alert you to a TV program being aired this evening.
Tonight at 7.30pm on BBC1, Nicky Campbell investigates the biggest shake-up in policing for more than half a century.
For the first time, voters will elect a Police and Crime Commissioner to lead their local force.
With a week to go to the elections, victims of crime, police and experts debate the real issues behind this historic change. In the East Midlands, Marie Ashby asks how the new role will help combat antisocial behaviour and the fear of crime closer to home.
