Bottesford NHW Alert: Door to Door Sellers (Bagmen) - Update / Reports from Lincs Police

Door to Door Sellers (Bagmen) - Update

Further to the alert issued on 30th January we received a report of a young woman cold calling on Fleming Avenue on Friday. She was purporting to be deaf and was selling pictures. The police were alerted and responded quickly. It is not yet known if this caller was genuine or not, but acting on the earlier NHW alert the resident did exactly the right thing by reporting it and giving the police the best chance of checking the caller out.

Please continue to be vigilant and report cold callers and any other suspicious activity to the police. Crime in progress call 999, otherwise call 101.
