Report of Suspicious Activity
A man aged about 40, wearing black snug fit woolly hat, bomber jacket, blue jeans, dark stubble was seen this morning looking at houses in the Riverside Walk / Church View area. When approached and asked if he was lost the man was evasive. At about the same time a white van reg AO53 JCY driven by a white male aged 50's/60 with grey hair and accompanied by a school aged boy was seen in the same area. This didn't appear to be a scrap van but went up and down the street twice before moving on. This has been reported to the police on the 101 non-emergency number. Please report any suspicious activity you see to the police and give them as much information as you can eg time, location, description, vehicle details, etc.
Dead Cygnet Found by the Canal
A signet was found dead on the field by canal near the Dirty Duck on Wednesday. If anyone has any information about how/when this bird was killed please let NHW know.
