Bottesford NHW Alert: Burglaries / Suspicious Males

Burglary

Just to make you aware their have been two more burglaries in the Vale: one in Hose and one here in Bottesford. Please do not leave any valuables or Christmas gifts on show and make sure to secure your property.

Suspicious Males

A suspicious male was seen in the garden of a property in Croxton Kerrial at around 7.40 am on Monday. He was seen to be looking at an oil tank. As the property has electric gates and no-one had been admitted this was clearly very suspicious. He is described as aged 30’s or 40’s wearing a light green jumper, and jeans, with very short shaved hair. Residents with oil tanks need to be extra vigilant.

In another incident two suspicious males attempted to sell badges in The Red Lion supposedly collecting for a children's charity. The left in a black hatchback vehicle registration PC55 BAD. They may have been legitimate charity collectors but on balance that seems unlikely. The incident has been reported to the police who have asked residents to report any further sightings of the pair so that they may be intercepted and checked out.
