Yesterday evening at 8.18pm 3 males entered Bottesford Co-op wearing balaclavas and gloves carrying a large white builders merchants type sack (the type used for sand and gravel) with a Travis Perkins logo on. One male jumped on the counter in an attempt to get to the cigarettes. The shop assistant pushed him back. Another male then tried to get behind the counter via the staff entrance. Again the assistant pushed him back. All 3 males then left empty handed and went down the alley towards Walford Close.
It is not known what vehicle they were in. Notts Police report they had a similar incident around 9pm in Sutton on
The police are asking for anyone who was in the Co-op, or in the vicinity of
