In the early hours of Tues morning thieves forced entry to Pizinni’s on the High Street and removed the till. The alarm was set off at 1.50am and entry was gained by smashing the double glazed window in the shop door. This will have made a considerable noise. It is possible that the thieves made off in a vehicle parked just around the corner.
The police have made house to house enquiries in the surrounding area but would like to hear from anyone who has not been spoken to, but who may have seen something suspicious in that area during Monday evening/Tuesday morning. The police can be contacted on the non-emergency 101 number.
