Bottesford NHW Alert: Suspicious Incidents in Bottesford / Halloween

Suspicious Incidents in Bottesford

Yesterday the police received reports of 2 suspicious incidents in Bottesford.

The first involved a red transit van driving very slowly through the village:

The second involved 3 males asking questions about occupants of a group of houses.

If anyone has information about either of these incidents please share it with NHW and the police (101).

When reporting suspicious incidents timing is critical. Criminals involved in such activity do not hang around waiting to be challenged. If you see something suspicious please report it to the police at the earliest opportunity by calling 101. This helps officers in the area deal incidents as and when they are happening.

Police patrols across the Vale are increased at present due to an ongoing cross border operation with Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, but people should still be vigilant and lock and secure doors and windows at all times. Items of value should be locked or stored away within the home and any suspicious activity reported via 101 as mentioned above.

Halloween

This coming Friday is Halloween night. Loved by some, hated by others.

Please make sure that you know where your children are; be aware of what they are doing, ensure that they are not causing a nuisance to other residents and, most importantly, make sure they are safe.
