BottesfordNHW Alert: Male Behaving Suspiciously in Plungar

Whilst the following alert has not been confirmed as criminal in nature it reminds us of the importance of maintaining  alertness and awareness.

On Tuesday 7 February 2017 at approximately 12 noon, a person called at a property in Church Lane, Plungar enquiring if the motor vehicle parked in the road outside the property was for sale. He also was asking people outside the property the same question. After being told it was not he sat in his vehicle outside the property in question for a few minutes before departing.

This behaviour can be a ploy used by criminals to ’suss’ out the property and those surrounding it to se if there is anything of value around, particularly in the gardens.

The person in question was; a white male, approximately 5’11” in height, large build with a beer belly, brown short curly hair, wearing a blue zip up top and jeans, He was in a silver two seat pick up truck, VRN and make unknown.
