The firework season is upon us – how quickly it comes round. NHW wants everyone to enjoy themselves - safely; but if you are letting off fireworks in your garden please have regard for elderly or vulnerable neighbours and those with pets. This can be a very difficult time them. You can help them by letting them know in advance, with some idea of times when it will be noisy. This at least gives them chance to make the necessary arrangements to minimise the distress to themselves and their pets. Please also restrict the fireworks to reasonable times before people go to bed. Very often being a good neighbour makes a good neighbour.
